Empowering Future Leaders with Kindness and Integrity : Hi-Q Scholarship Awards

At Hi-Q, we believe that true success is measured not only by innovation, but by how we give back. On June 10th, we were honored to host a joint scholarship ceremony at our Hi-Q Brand House, celebrating students from National Taiwan Ocean University (NTOU) who embody both academic dedication and a spirit of service.

Among the scholarships presented, two were especially meaningful to us — the Kindness Service Award, initiated by Hi-Q, and the Hi-Q Scholarship, established by our Chairman, Mr. Johnson Chang, a proud alumnus of NTOU.

The Kindness Service Award was created to recognize students who go beyond themselves — those who serve others, give back to society, and inspire kindness through action. This semester, 6 students and 8 student organizations were honored, continuing a tradition that has supported dozens of young changemakers since 2021.

Meanwhile, the Hi-Q Scholarship supports students passionate about marine biotechnology — future talents in food science, aquaculture, and marine sustainability. Since its launch in 2017, it has awarded over NT$3 million to 159 students, empowering the next generation to lead with knowledge and heart.

This evening was not only about recognition — it was about passing on the spirit of 厚道: doing good with integrity. We are proud to support these young scholars and will continue to invest in building a kinder, more sustainable future.
